So Occupy and/or Tea Party movements could be reasonable. But it is an alternate universe and so could easily not exist.

My premise is pretty much intentionally overtly political. The whole lefty Robin Hood thing.

However, I do not want to have any characters give any long political diatribes and I don't want to present any right wing straw dogs. There will be some exaggeration in villains as would befit something Pulpish, e.g. Lex Luthorish perhaps, but he will view himself as the hero of his story as we all do.

If you or anyone else thinks I'm veering too caricature-like, I can reel them back in on a re-write.Nick Phttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02110963256859293410noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27144766.post-3419415485464175002012-01-25T15:59:26.383-05:002012-01-25T15:59:26.383-05:00hmm, not sure about calling it occupy optimus as i...hmm, not sure about calling it occupy optimus as it is in a future/alternate reality setting. As the story is already a robin hood story, it seems like overkill to have the occupy movement present in the story. It also makes the story political on the face as opposed to being metaphorically political, or having political undercurrents.Buddhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17142269413009487783noreply@blogger.com
