True Blood?

The Herald Sun is reporting that synthetic blood has been used to save the life of a person that couldn't accept whole blood due to religious observances. 

Will vampires now step out of the shadows to life among us and drink the synthetic stuff from bottles?  Only Sooki Stackhouse and Bill the Vampire know for sure.
