I got the free version of this book that was actually a preview that consisted of about six stories. All the stories are set in a dystopian society. The editor points out that one man's utopia is another man's hell. My favorite story from the anthology touches on that. "Of A Sweet Slow Dance in the Wake of Temporary Dogs," by Adam Troy Castro is excellent and makes you wonder just what paradise is worth. The anthology contains stories by P.K. Dick, O.S. Card, new author Paolo Bacigalupi, and many, many more. If you like tales of set in dystopian worlds, this book is full of enjoyable short stories. Of the free trial stories my least favorite was Cory Doctorow's. While all of these stories are somewhat derivative of 1984, most of them are more homages. Doctorow's was too derivative.

I totally misread the title. I was expecting it to be about Aldous Huxley. Sounds like a pretty interesting book.

Even if you don't read the whole book, track down "Of a sweet slow dance in the temporary wake of dogs." Excellent story.
