SGU Season Finale-spoiler free

How is the SGU finale like camping?  They are both INTENTS!  Wow, I mean wow.  Words are failing me.  It will be interesting to see how they get out of this one, but I am guessing Eli is a big part of it.  Part one set up some tension but part two amped it way up.

The show's biggest criticism in the first half of the season was characters being one dimensional but I think the second half of the season shored things up a little.  You got to learn a lot more about the characters.  The still left some second string characters undeveloped, but that leaves them room to grow.  Their can be whole episodes in future seasons about the other Asian chick (Jennifer Spense), the scientist one not Ming-Na.  And that one scientist guy, Brodie I think.

I am pretty sure that when they filmed this ending the were not sure if they were getting renewed or not.  There is likely an alternate scene out there that plays out badly.  I am really interested on how the writers will write themselves out of this.

I really love this show. It's my favorite situation is science fiction. Group of people who have no reason to be thrown together, get THROWN together on ancient vessel billions of light years from home and have to learn to live with each other to survive.

You and I both know how this is going to go. Both the aliens that look like us and the humans that look like us will have to work togehter against a threat that doesn't look like us and I hope are totally new to the 'Stargate' Universe but are as evil and cool looking as the 'Wraith' from SG Atlantis.

Now you will have three groups, humans, human military and human looking aliens all working for the 'good of the crew' which is the most insincere promise two guys ever made to each other EVER.

Can you tell I love this show. It's everything I wished 'Battlestar Galactica' would have been. BSG had some great moments but left me cold near the end.

I totally agree about BSG. Around season 3 it just kind of died for me. It quit being a space oopera and started being a soap opera in space. I still watched it though, cause Grace Park was hot and so was Xena. I also wanted to know what the plan was. Two out of three ain't bad.
