Japanese Horror- A to Z

A lot of American movies are now just remakes of foreign films.  In the horror genre this is done almost exclusively with Japanese Horror films.  I will not worry about the ones that do get remade (Dark Water, The Ring, The Grudge, etc.) but will instead tell you about some really good movies that they just haven't gotten around to remaking yet.

Audition:  Casting director desides it is time to remarry after his wife dies.  Why not set up an audition?  What could go wrong?

Infection:  Man is brought into a Hospital that has lost funding and is closing, he has a weird infection that spreads through the hospital.  Is it real, is it imagined.  I am not sure, but it was fun to watch as the ensuing blood bath takes place.

Stacy: Attack of the School Girl Zombies-  Apparently, in Japan, a girl turns into a zombie at around age 16.  Who knew?  Good thing there are Romero Repeat Kill Troops to rekill them.  This is actually a heart warming love story.  No really!

Not as good but still fun are Eko Eko Azarak and Parasite Eve.

The Japanese film, Suicide Club, is one of my favourite movies.

I love most things Japanese though.
