Put another notch on the the movies that fail at being as good as the book tally. The movie was interesting and okay, but it misses the point of the whole story. It isn't a story about time travel as much as it is a love story that has time travel in it. In the first five minutes of "Up" the audience is given the entire relationship between the couple and their dreams, yet The Time Traveler's Wife is unable to give us half that emotion with the entire length of the movie.
